Calico
The crisp,bright tones and delicate beauty of the Calico bring out the real fun of playing a banjo. It has a beautiful natural blond flamed maple neck and resonator with purfling and ivoroid binding. Mother-of-pearl scroll inlays adorn the ebony fingerboard. The neck has a two-way adjustable truss-rod, as do all Deering banjos. Bound in white, the peghead has an elegantly finished look. The slender neck shape is fast and easy to play.
The excellent tone of the Calico comes from a three-ply maple-rim, a virgin bell-bronze tone-ring and zinc flange, combined with a figured Eastern hard rock maple neck and resonator. All Deering banjos come with a geared fifth tuner for accurate tuning.
